We are extremely proud to announce that long time GDI Southeast affiliated goaltender and recent instructor Danny Weiss has committed to Division 3 NESCAC Wesleyan University in Connecticut for the 13/14′ season. Danny currently plays for the WSHL Wichita Jr Thunder. “Having success in this sport when starting hockey at a later age can prove insurmountable but Danny has accomplished a great deal and reached every goal he has set for himself. He works as hard as anyone in the game and is an example setter for our young goalies. Danny is loved by everyone that comes in contact with him and obviously made a tremendous impression on Wesleyan. He is an exceptional student/athlete with a bright future and we are thrilled that he can continue his education and hockey career at such a prestigious school.” Ryan Honick, GDI Southeast President.
